So instead I tried to do some things around the house. Granted this was a bit rough with my back being as it is. We (being the kids and I) got a couple loads of dishes done. We also got the trash taken out. Unfortunately we couldn't get the rest of the house clean, as there were some things that needed some paper towels to clean up ... unfortunate as the fact that we are out of paper towels currently. So, tomorrow will be going to the store time to get some for the cleanup of the messes in the house left by the puppies.
And here I now sit at my computer. An old gaming friend contacted me via XFire to say that he was planning on moving into his own place soon. Now, why should this be anything I'd really care to know? Well, normally it wouldn't be much of any care to me. Being ever-looking for a job, I then asked him if he knew of any jobs out near him that I'd be able to take up, and subsequently shack up with him for a time. He said there were a few places near him that were looking for workers...the main problem for me would be the simple fact that I'd need to learn French to be able to get a job up there. He lives in Canada, and apparently has some buddies that work at Ubisoft, and he thinks he'd be able to get me in there, but again, I'd need to know French.
Speaking of XFire, I'd noted a new advertisement on it concerning a new facebook game. Now, normally I don't like any facebook games, as most are inundated with massive amounts of advertisements. Of course, installing the adblock plugin keeps me from seeing them, which is awesome. Anyway, this game is actually pretty easy, not much to it, but it has good graphics. Granted it is still being developed, so there are some glitches here and there that they're working on. Luckily I've got some friends that work at XFire that have joined in this game as well, and I've gotten in with them and managed to have some good tracks going to make some good money.
Dinner tonight was simple enough, spaghetti with meat sauce. I also separated the mass of hamburger meat to be put in the freezer. Tomorrow's dinner? Not quite sure, but probably something with the chicken breasts we have in the freezer as well.
Now, my story, I have gotten it reviewed by Victoria, and she likes it much better for the first couple chapters. Unfortunately I need to add more description in my third chapter, so I'll be working on that after I make this post. Then I'll start on chapter 4 and see if I can't make it good on the first try. and with that, off I go.
